Elizabeth graduated from MSU in 2010 and after spending a year as a generalist at Troy Beaumont, moved to the Seattle area with MSU BLD alumni husband, Mark. Since then, she has worked in the blood bank at a level 1 trauma center, taught courses for two local MLT programs and learned to apply Lean techniques in the laboratory. She made the transition into leadership first as a quality lead in a rural hospital, as a senior laboratory manager for a Seattle cancer center and presently as a laboratory operations manager in Bellevue, Washington. Asking questions, teaching and seeing people get excited about science is what motivates her. Elizabeth maintains her MLS and SBB (ASCP) certifications and has an MBA in Healthcare Management.
