Student Association
The Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics Program Student Association (BLDSA) at MSU is a student run organization that provides its members with the opportunity to become involved in their curriculum and profession.
All students interested in pursuing careers in the biomedical laboratory sciences are invited to join. Your membership gives you the opportunity to participate in variety of professional and social activities. These activities include volunteer opportunities, facility tours and social activities. The goal of these activities is to provide our members with sufficient background to make career decisions by exploring the diversity of options available in this field of study.

Hello! My name is Jasmine, and I am honored to be serving as your BLDSA President for the 2025-2026 school year! This will be my second year on the E-board. I am a senior pursuing a career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. My favorite classes so far have been MMG 365, BLD 434 and BLD 314L. I love the BLD program because the professors and students of BLD are so welcoming, kind, and fun, and I love being in the lab. If you see me around or have any questions about BLD events, please don't hesitate to reach out or say hi. :)

Hey everyone! I'm Audrey, and I'm the Vice President of the 2025-26 E-board. I am currently a senior! My favorite classes so far have been: MMG365L, BLD 213L, and BLD 314L (can you tell that I enjoy labs?)! I'm so excited to be VP; please don't hesitate to say hi or ask me any questions if you see me in the hall. I can't wait to see what fun things we plan this year!

Hi everyone! I'm Ella, I will be the secretary of the 2025-26 E-Board. I am planning to pursue Medical Laboratory Science major with a premed track for pathology. So far, my favorite class has been BLD 213L because of all the fun labs you get to do. I really enjoyed WBCs and blood bank. I'm super excited to be part of the E-Board this year. I can't wait for all the fun events and meeting everyone!

Hi! My name is Bre, and this year I'll be the treasurer for the 2025-2026 BLDSA E-board. I'm so excited to spend more time with this community at MSU going into my junior year and to also be more involved in BLD student activities. I'm planning to apply for the MLS program this year, and overall I'm really looking forward to being on campus and seeing BLD professors and students again!

Hello everyone! My name is Udai Kapoor, and I am a senior. I will be one of the event coordinators for BLDSA this year. My favorite BLD courses so far have been BLD 302 and MMG 365. This will be my first year on the e-board and I am really excited to organize and take part in the events planned by BLDSA. Looking forward to meeting y’all in the fall!

Hi everyone! I'm Sarah, and I will be serving as a member-at-large for this academic year of 2025-26. I'm a senior in the MLS program and my favorite BLD courses so far have been BLD 314L and BLD 324. The BLD courses have been very interesting to me and has made me realize my love for working in the lab. I am really excited to be a part of this E-board and I can't wait to meet all the members of the student association this year!
