BLD Blood Drive

October 7th, 2026

The BLD Student Association (BLDSA) is hosting the BLD Blood Drive on Wednesday, October 7th, and invites students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to join us in supporting this life-saving effort.

Whether you donate on campus or at a blood center near you, your contribution can make a meaningful difference for patients in need. We hope our BLD community will come together to support this important effort and the communities we serve.

100th Anniversary Homecoming Tailgate

Celebrate the Biomedical Laboratory Diagnostics Program's 100th Anniversary during Michigan State University's Homecoming weekend. Connect with alumni, faculty, students, and friends as we reflect on our shared history and commemorate a century of impact. The tailgate will feature food, TVs for a game-day watch party, and special prizes throughout the event, including a TV!

Whether you're reconnecting with former classmates, catching up with faculty, or learning more about the program's centennial celebration, this event is a great opportunity to celebrate what makes the BLD community special.

Celebrate 100 years of the BLD Program and honor the people, milestones, and achievements that have shaped our legacy. This special evening will bring together alumni, faculty, students, and friends for a memorable centennial celebration. Tickets and RSVP information will be available soon.


BLD Make Connections Collection

BLD Make Connection connects alumni and current students to have conversations around student experiences in BLD, exciting career opportunities available after completing a major in the BLD program, and the medical laboratory scientist profession. The events are held throughout the semester during different times of the week to accommodate students with different academic schedules. Interested in participating?
